Late Spring in the South
by DCDave

May has many a sun-drenched day,
But the treasure that's most rare
Is the sweet, sweet smell of honeysuckles
On the evening air.

Of violets and daffodils,
Let the poets talk,
But nature never offered more
When Wordsworth took a walk.
