The Moral Low Ground
They’ve
been starving Palestinians,
Shooting
kids for fun,
With
churches, homes, and hospitals
Under
Israel’s gun.
It’s
the logical conclusion
Of
what they started long ago.
Europeans
want their homeland,
So the residents have to go.
We’ve
claimed the moral low ground
We
were already giving
Everything
they asked us for.
Who
knows what these genociders
Might
still have in store?
We’ve
claimed the moral low ground
By
joining Israel’s war.
They
say they’re fighting “terrorists.”
It’s
enough to make you cry.
To
spot this case of projection
You
hardly have to try.
Perhaps
you’ve heard of Deir
Yassin,
The
Nakba’s biggest score.
But
hidden from our public,
There
were many,
many more.
We’ve
claimed the moral low ground
By
joining Israel’s war.
We
were already giving
Everything
they asked us for.
Who
knows what these genociders
Might
still have in store?
We’ve
claimed the moral low ground
By
joining Israel’s war.
What’s
really outright slaughter,
They
like to call a “war.”
Founded
upon their treachery,
We’ve
seen it all before.
Those
residents of Gaza
Are
mostly refugees
From
the larger land of “Israel”
That
the Europeans seized.
We’ve
claimed the moral low ground
By
joining Israel’s war.
We
were already giving
Everything
they asked us for.
Who
knows what these genociders
Might
still have in store?
We’ve
claimed the moral low ground
By
joining Israel’s war.
