In the Spirit of COVID Times

To the tune of "I'm Fixin' to Die Rag"

Welcome all you healthy old souls,

Biggie Bro needs complete control

A little freedom is much too much

Demands a totalitarian touch

So give it your all and take a seat

No time for you and yours to meet

And its 1,2,3, what are we resisting for?

Neither you nor I give a darn

We’re off to FEMA’s barn

And its 5,6,7, open up the barbwired gates

They gave us plenty of time to question why

PEACE-full, we lie down to die.

Welcome, dear generals, needle us quick

You prevent us from getting sick

You have to confine all the germs

Only ones safe belong to The Firm

The pandemic’s over when nobody’s ill

WHO says there’s nothing like overkill

And its 1,2,3, what are we resisting for?

Neither you nor I give a darn

We’re off to FEMA’s barn

And its 5,6,7, open up the barbwired gates

We had plenty of time to question why

PEACE-full, we lie down to die.

Now come Bank$ter$ with bags of loot

You can tell when they holler ‘n’ hoot

There’s plenty good money to be made

Supplying vaccines, new form of trade!

Hope and pray for a certificate

To travel from state to state

And its 1,2,3, what are we resisting for?

Neither you nor I give a darn

We’re off to FEMA’s barn

And its 5,6,7, open up the barbwired gates

We had plenty of time to question why

PEACE-full, we lie down to die.

Mothers of children in the womb

They’re better off in a tomb

Fathers of children already born

Enlist them all, each reborn

As a virus, trust Prince Charles,

The royal Reptilian who snarls

And its 1,2,3, what are we resisting for?

Neither you nor I give a darn

We’re off to FEMA’s barn

And its 5,6,7, open up the barbwired gates

We had plenty of time to question why

PEACE-full, we lie down to die.
