The Hillary-Wocky

'Twas Arkansas, with lawyers bold
      Where Clinton learned her destiny
The throne was hers alone to hold
      The US presidency

"Beware the Hillary, my son!
With ropes that choked and trains that crushed
Beware the suicidal notes
      Of witnesses she's hushed"

He studied e-lectoral math
      And stalked elusive battlegrounds
He rallied in small whistle stops
      And talked the nation 'round

And as October month rolled by
      Came Hillary with eyes aflame
With expectations burning bright
      And history in her name

A hundred million ballots cast
      The paper, a prodigious mount
Electors cast their votes for Trump
And all could read the count

“O! Thou hast beat the Hillary?
      The Constitution's safe once more!
Callooh! Callay! They won the day:
      The 'basket' she deplored!"

'Twas Washington, with lawyers cold
      Where Clinton lost the presidency
Three Justice seats were filled by Trump
      The US destiny
