They're Dragging Me from a Jet Plane

(To the tune of  ÒLeaving on a Jet PlaneÓ by Peter, Paul, and Mary)

All the bags are loaded
TheyÕve closed the door.
IÕm sitting here all set to go
Can't wait to see my patients in good time.

But somethingÕs happening
Up near the front
TheyÕre pulling some
Last-minute stunt
Just when I thought that
Everything was fine.

Oh holy smokes theyÕve come for me!
What earthly reason could there be?
TheyÕve grabbed me like theyÕll never let me go.
TheyÕre dragging me from a jet plane
I donÕt know but this surely seems insane.
My disapproval they will know.

IÕve heard theyÕve done these things before;
When you fly United you know the score,
But I just thought that stuff was in the past.

Broken guitars; shouldÕve been forewarned
Other options I should not have scorned.
This deal with them will surely be my last.

My seat I could not give up.
But who believed theyÕd rough me up?
They grabbed me like theyÕd never let me go.
They dragged me from a jet plane
I donÕt know but it sure seemed insane.
My disapproval they will know.

My devices were switched off.
One last time
Seat back upright
But what happened I could not foresee.

When I stepped upon that plane
The sky was blue, the world was sane.
I never thought that they would come for me.

My seat I could not give up
But who believes theyÕll rough you up?
They grabbed me like theyÕd never let me go.

TheyÕre dragging me from a jet plane
What earthly reason could there be?
Being dragged from a jet plane.
I donÕt know but this sure seems insane.
Being dragged from a jet plane.
I donÕt know but this sure feels insane.
My disapproval they will know.
