Devoted to Truth?

What’s the problem with our press?

Why are we in such a mess?

No group of folks was ever less

Devoted to truth.

They would tell us what to think

With no clue how much they stink.

They’re not even on the brink

Of devotion to truth.

Remember how they lied us into a war.

Their blather is still the same.

It makes you wonder who they’re working for,

But we’re figuring out their game.

Through the years they’ve gotten worse.

Now they haunt us like a curse.

It’s the power of the purse,

Not devotion to truth.
