Natural Splendor

                                                             by DCDave

Finest of birds, the snow geese soar
                                    Above Virginiaís Eastern Shore,
And by the thousands they alight
In Assateague to spend the night.
                                    Now of my allotted span,
The greater part wonít come again,
And since to look at lovely things,
The time Iíve left is trifling,
                                    Down to Assateague Iíll go
To see the birds that speak of snow.
