Condoleezza
by DCDave

lifted from "Mona Lisa" by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans
Condoleezza, Condoleezza, your folks named you,
But it seems you've made it anyway.
Is it for merit that our rulers might have claimed you,
Or because you threw in with the CIA?

Can you straighten out our blunder, Condoleezza?
Or are you there to give it a good face?
Many problems have been dropped in your IN box.
They may lie there, but they don't die there.
Do you mean what you say, Condoleezza,
Or could we put a lifeless robot in your place?

Can you straighten out our blunder, Condoleezza?
Or are you there to give it a good face?
Many problems have been dropped in your IN box.
They may lie there, but they don't die there.
Do you mean what you say, Condoleezza,
Or could we put a lifeless robot in your place?

Condoleezza, Condoleezza
