Misplaced Concern

We're supposed to be filled with fear
Of the folks in the world who hate us,
While we fatefully turn a blind eye
To the ones who manipulate us.

If we can't see what has gone wrong,
We can do nothing about it.
Our problem's with people with power,
Not with the ones who're without it.
