We are the last of the superpowers.

For all that it took for us to win it,
You'd think there would be more profit in it.

The Cold War is over; the old war goes on,
The eternal war between right and wrong.

The Cold War is won, but it did take its toll:
Somewhere in the struggle we lost our soul.
