There are those who suggest
To get at the truth
That I should turn into
A freelancing sleuth.

That's a very good way,
From things that I've read,
--Not only in Mexico--
To turn into dead.

As long as drugs rule
Up here and down there
The subject must be
Approached with great care.

We don't want to leave
The field of debate
To taunters and trolls
Who work for the state.
