Thrill Seeker
                                                                                                      by DCDave

"Is this any way for a man to behave,
Decidedly more foolhardy than brave,
On a mission he fancies as patriotic,
Which those more detached all say is quixotic?
Why must he be so defiant and bold?
Why can't he shut up and accept what he's told?"

All I can say is that I feel no pull
To ride on the back of a put-upon bull,
To jump from the door of a high-flying plane
For the thrilling experience to me seems insane,
And scaling the face of a thousand-foot cliff
Just from the photographs frightens me stiff.
No, I'd rather do what's diverting to me,
I like to fight against tyranny.
